We have a genuine passion for online marketing and would like to extend this interest via our annual $1000 scholarship.
It is our hope that our scholarship will help students develop their writing skills and realize their passion in the online marketing space.
To qualify for the scholarship you must be currently enrolled or have been accepted into a college/university for the upcoming semester. Proof of enrollment or acceptance will need to be provided.
To participate in the Your Best Picks Annual Online Marketing Scholarship program, you will be required to submit an essay adhering to the following guidelines:
Length: 500 words (1000 words maximum)
Topic: “How to convince a potential customer to purchase a product via a website”
Submission: Submit the article in word document format to email@example.com.
Deadline: February 28th, 2018
Award: $1000 to be issued to the winner’s university/college of attendance in the form of a check by March 15th, 2018. If the winner does not claim the prize, a new winner will be selected.
Along with the word document, please include the following details in the email:
- Full Name
- Address and phone number
- College or university name
- Field of study
- Proof that you currently are a student or will be a student
We reserve the right to publish the names and submissions of the top contestants on our website – www.yourbestpicks.com
The essays will be judged with the following criteria:
- Originality (plagiarism will not be tolerated)
- Ability to answer the question
- Grammar and style
- Persuasiveness of the argument
We look forward to reading all the submissions and hope that the money will aid the winner in their educational costs. The scholarship recipient is responsible for payment of any applicable state and/or federal income taxes due to the receipt of the scholarship.
